Name: Patrick Star
Occupation: Doing nothing
Patrick enjoys doing everything that Spongebob does. He is the dumbest creature under the sea. He is a great friend to SpongeBob

SPONGE BOB SQUARE PANTS!! MY FAVOURITE CARTOON. ANYONE WHO DOESN'T KNOW SPONGEBOB SHOULD BE THROWN INTO THE SEA, AND LIVE IN BIKINI BOTTOM.

courtesy of www.spongebobworld.com

you know, i really like sandy cheeks. not only is she an athelete, she's cute, has bunny teeth like me ( and cheryl). and she speaks with a texas accent!!!!! =] today was really funny. we were trying out the texas accent during geog tutorial.

and anyway i'm quite sad because i failed my mock chem spa. like who on earth fails chem spa??? just because my titration reading was off, and i had 12 points flying out of the window.

and miss michelle lee, the really good math teacher gave us a good scolding. she lashed out at us for doing realllyyyyy badly for the math lecture test. oh man. and the lowest in class is 2/30. anyway i can't stand this stereotyping that the 5-series classes are considered weaker. she was like "but it's good that my second highest scorer came from this class".

i mean, it's good that she praised us,but it's bad too. and i don't mean to say that she meant any sarcasm. but why stereotype us just because the past 501 classes have very little students producing 3As?

she told us that the 2 series classes were generally more competitive n competent and will do better for A levels, and graduate with their 3 and 4 As, BECAUSE THEY CAME IN WITH 8,9 FOR RAW O LEVEL SCORE.

or maybe we are just not that good at math, and we can fare better at humanities.

like c'mon, didn't WE come in with single digits as well? didn't we make it to the college based on our own merit, based on our olevel results?

many people might put us down, like what they do to the arts classes, just because we takecross combination , just because we take geog which is a very huge art subject, and we don't take heavy sciences like BIO or H2 physics.

but i can for sure say that 501 is a very competent class, with especially hardworking people, people with a thirst to learn. and i can certainly conclude that my classmates will agree with me.

and i assure we will walk out of MJC with good results, just like any value-added student from any other science class.

ROSES FOR YOU

this weekend's tasks

get injection against typhoid

re-do PI but firstly search for a new groundbreaker (!)

do math tutorial and that assignment on eqtns and inequalities

chem gases e learning n tutorial

review geog test

read the geog notes to prevent yourself from getting lost in lecture

econs workbook - redo!

chinese (need to do e worksheet??)

e learning w darling tracie pow for geog. some essay online to be done

e learning for maths

e learning for econs and there's a worksheet to be done.

stuff in school after labour day

-chem test on atomic structure and gases

- can i ask if our class has a chem re-test for mole and redox?

- chinese test (UGGH sounds weird)

- geog test with an undisclosed date

-chem nation wide spa on next x2 monday

-econs? maybe there'll be consolidation test.

- there's no homework for GP.

the school is having an e learning test this week so all the subjects have e-worksheets and assignments to be completed, just in case the whole server fails with the large influx of students.

ok i think i've found my groundbreaker. and to think i came up with it in such a short time! nehahaha. i hope tony buzan doesn't let me down. it seems that he satisfies all the PW criteria. nehahahah.

i jut got my injection for typhoid so yay i'm an official worker at perkafe! gotta check out my duty slots. and there's something called the work attachment programme at perkafe, and i'm in for marketing. i don't think i will be running for any ex co positions at all since i'll be so busy, and they have undeniably stated tat your results will suffer. i really can't afford to take any chances though. why don't they have a post like "cleaning manager"? i can cook, wash, mop and do all sorts of house work. haha.

we had a very enriching GP debate on friday. it was cool, funny, and interesting, with both sides raising very relevant issues about the motion. is singapore a nanny state? we were the opposition, and i can't help but believe we are not. but i mean, we are perceived to be one sometimes. thanks rachel for the points against the banning of gum, simply because it's the retail of gum that's banned. all of us chew gum in class right??

so glad there's a LABOUR DAY to do all the assignments and piling tutorials. YAY! it certainly will be a labour day. intellectual labour i mean. nehahaha.

we received our geog test and thank God i did manage to scrape through to get 17/24 like OYC. i think consistency really plays a role, but that depends on whether you can spare the time to study and revise work during weekends. =]

man, it's the time of the month again!

ok nevermind. anyway today during lunch we had a very interesting conversation regarding the ex-chinese teacher zhao lao shi and her teddy bear tee shirt, ivan's weird antics. and we also talked about the chest club in MJC and how uncle choi will choose jonathan who's really got nice muscles and good physique to be her next target. AHEM. coupled with the fact that jon has sexy red hot puma shoes it'll entice uncle choi even more. like uncle choi's gonna lure jon to a corner after his 15 pull ups (YES he can do 15 at a go i saw it with my own eyes) then she'll spike his drink, lick her lips and ya. start removing his uniform. he shall be drugged and wake up in a daze, oblivious to how he has lost his.... (yeek i'm so gross)

jon, be careful!!

and guess what i have to re-do my PI ground breaker! =[

today has been a trying day for many of us in s501. well i guess it's just the pressure building up for many of us due to busy SYF schedules, unfinished homework, abysmal test results. everything gets supressed, till we explode like a volcano, spewing out pyroclastic material which is made of rocks and They are fast-moving fluidized bodies of hot gas, aash and rock (collectively known as tephra) which can travel away from the vent at up to 700 km/h. oh no i'm speaking in geography language!

OK anyway so after our 7 rounds (man!! sarene is super fast i think she can finish her 2.4 in 12 minutes man) around the track today, some complications arose. (got past tense for ARISE?) or arisen. ahhh whatever. emo girls, sick girls, girls in pain. so hope they are feeling better.

so after that we went to collect certs and went to eat katong laksa. i think it's really God's surprise gift to all of us when huiqi called rachel about the 2 rainbows. even though i didn't get to see it, i mean, it's such a blessing.

there are so many things in life that are going for you. like the trees outside along the road, the toothpaste that obediently gets squeezed out when you brush your teeth in the morning, your legs that can carry you to run 7 rounds on the mjc track, the SBS bus driver that sends you to school everyday, the smiles and warm greetings you receive when you start your day in school. the "bye! see you tmr" smses you get at night, just before you finish your homework, close your eyes and go to la la land.
there's no reason to complain.

i'm glad God has made me a happy person.

congrats to YEONG CHYUN, MICHELLE, AMANDA AND MJC DANCE becuse they garnered their GOLD medal in the SYF. woohooo!

and i passed my econs test! 7/10. haha

that's it!

tuesday, a long lond long day. some of us might even find it dreadful, because there's double chinese period and there's a over-dosage of GP. GP gets boring because the teacher doesn't wish to show us any movies or videos. it's very much like passive learning =/ oh well. and we received our GP essay yesterday. relatively not that bad but i scored a 26 again. clinging on to stagnancy is not what i wish to. anyway i must applaud huiqi in topping our class with a 28/50 for the GP essay.

and yea we are rained down with tests and test results. ah kua returned us the chem test! and guess what, the whole class failed (again) as expected. i can't believe i topped the class with a sub pass.what's that again, 11 and a half over 25. then again, our class only has 14 people. our class representative is set to give us a pep talk. good!

then of course, there are really exciting things to look forward to! there's a GP debate on government. ( oh did i mention exciting GP? does it sound like an oxymoron?) oh wait there's a class lunch on thursday, although school ends at like 4 i think.. all of us have been craving for katong laksa. mmmm.

here's a list of great food within walking distance from tanjong katong secondary. ok lah, or at least it's only a few bus stops away if your legs can't carry you that far. not in any particular order, but these tantilising dishes will make you drool. =]

1. 328 katong laksa along katong road
2. ban mian at roxy square hotel foodcourt
3. fei fei wanton mee at joo chiat road
4. delicious boneless chicken rice (w soup) at katong SC food court
5. space out! cafe at katong SC
6. bubble tea at katong SC
7. parkway foodcourt - i like the yummy steamy thinggy as well as their grass jelly.
8. paya lebar post office macs/ siglap CC macs and their desserts!
9. paya lebar post office roti prata
10. just go to the mini mart outside tanjong katong road there and get yourself an ice cream, or have instant noodles. the uncle and auntie are so hospitable, you get royal treatment.

FOOD!!!!!!!

yesterday morning-

was spent in the school library attending some REACH workshop. it was slightly boring and mundane but nevertheless, it was fruitful.

not to me of course, i could have spent the morning snoozing in bed, then wake up reluctantly to revise monday's math test.

yea! this week will be less taxing because there's gonna be only one test, but it's a huge math test. graphing techniques and functions. =] luckily there isn't any trigo, or we shall all die flat.

there's a hardcore mugger in my class ( as mentioned in HQ's blog)

will people resort to underhand means to get what they want, to ace their tests and emerge as tops? nah, i don't think so.

or maybe, i am starting to believe so.

what's the differerence over being OPPORTUNISTIC, and resorting to underhand means? both can be viewed in the same, or different manner.

but at this stage, when the race has just begun? isn't it ridiculous?

food for thought. oh well maybe you all don't know what i'm talking about. i can say that this is my first encounter with someone like this. quite interesting, =) but let's just hope this doesn't explode into a fabricated competition.

when's the chinese test?

"There are many students who are troubled and many who have a fascination with death, but it doesn't mean that they are going to kill people "
Robin Kowalski, psychologist

that piece of news about the south korean guy who massacred 32 people+ himself at virgina tech uni left the whole world shocked and appalled. gosh. can't believe anyone living in this society could have performed such a cold blooded act. this shows a total lack of civility, inept of a heart.

but could we really blame him, since he was already psychologically and mentally unsound to start off with?

why wasn't his condition kept under control? was he living in a world of his own that no one wanted, or even dared, to reach out to him?

toay was supposed to go visit mrs quek but in the end i ended up going for math consultation with sarene, jaime and ben. it was more like remedial, but i really appreciate miss lee's dedication and she's a really great math tutor.=] so i'm quite driven to get at least a C for nect week's test.

weeheee! i jsut finished a test marathon.
tuesday was econs test. wednesday was geog test ( yyrrrhh does not bode well at all) and chem test today. as usual MJ's weird chem test expect lots from you and so everyone (i really meant everyone) guessed the last 5 mcq questions.

oh wait. there were 5 MCQs to guess. so i placed DCABB.

yesterday was really an enriching outing at yakult factory, thanks to hsien mei who took pains to organise the first field trip for bizclub. the guy who came to do the presentation spoke very softly about the shirota bacteria in the drink. and with one drop of yakult there were millions of wriggling worms. oh i mean bacteria. but because yakult is really delicious. i like it better than vitagen!

after that the other presenter who brought us into the viewing place was really funny. he kept digressing and talked about his love story and past in river valley high chinese school (long name) and then when he went to national JC he knew not a word of english. and when he went to bio class he thought he had gone to some photography club meeting because the teacher wrote photosynthesis on the balckboard, leaving him and his classmate puzzled. after asking us and reminding us to study hard ( because he has been working for yakult for 27 years), he kept emphasising that studying was the best. or you can always end up getting stuck at the yakult factory packing yakult, doing that same old mundane thing for 10 hours a day.

so true. studying is still the best.

kenneth: hey baby food is good ok. haha at least mine tasted decent, like some cranberry jelly. we can buy you some for your 18th birthday.

huiqi: yeah and for chem also. so difficult. but let's put our best foot forward!

samantha: hey haha sorry i went back with faith, huiqi and rachel and hayden.

cheryl: hey sweetie! thanks so much for the recipie!!

tomorrow is TK CHOIR's syf day. here's wishing them all the best, because gold with honours is in their hands. i can only pray for the best for them =] go tk choir!!!!!!!!

i could still remember the same scene 2 years ago. we spent about 2 hours in the morning doing full warm ups. we went to conference hall. sang. it was so quick.when they announced our winning, i grabbed dorea's hand and we started crying. teatrs of joy. man!

the last time i felt like this was during O level release. faith and i went euphoric, mad with joy and relief.

anyway today we had a very efficacious conference, and i'm so glad we all managed to clear things up. i admire his way of accepting what we really felt was going on in the underneath conflict, and i'm glad it wasn't even a problem. i think ben's right. maybe we should always give people the benefit of the doubt, thus it makes things easier for ourselves. =] there's a weird geog test tomorrow! OH NO.

anyway econs test today was good. i never felt so good for a test in a long time.

today was comfort food day. the three of us went to ben and jerry's because it was free cone day. amazingly, they were very efficient and we were happily licking our chunky monkey, choc fudge and ( cant remember hay's flavour) like little kids. haha!

Artist: The Wonders
Song: That Thing You Do!

You,
Doin' that thing you do,
Breaking my heart into a million pieces,
Like you always do

And you,
Don't mean to be cruel,
You never even knew about the heartache,
I've been going through

Well I try and try to forget you girl,
But it's just so hard to do,
Every time you do that thing you do

I,
Know all the games you play,
And I'm gonna find a way to let you know that,
You'll be mine someday
'Cause we,
Could be happy can't you see,
If you'd only let me be the one to hold you,
And keep you here with me

'Cause I try and try to forget you girl,
But it's just so hard to do,
Every time you do that thing you do

I don't ask a lot girl,
But I know one thing's for sure,
It's the love I haven't got girl,
And I just can't take it anymore

'Cause we,
Could be happy can't you see,
If you'd only let me be the one to hold you,
And keep you here with me
Cause it hurts me so just to see you go,
Around with someone new,
And if I know you you're doin' that thing,
Every day just doin' that thing,
I can't take you doing that thing you do

i heard this song on class95 while trying to digest chua's geog notes. geog's getting tough.this is one of huiqi's favourite songs (me too). we go crazy dancing eveytime we hear this. yay and i'm visiting mrs quek next friday. i miss her so much, even though i dont like physics. i still remember asking "why do we learn physics?" and she said so next time you can tell your children about magnetic induction. =] i miss her motherly talks. think we can go look for shoes too on that day at queensway!

today's saturday!!! finally i could sleep and roll about in bed like a pig till 830am this morning. that's heaven. plus, the weather was so cooling last night. YAY! woke up, ate, went downstairs to teach ben chem ( that rhymes) and anyway. in the end i was the one who got that frigging chemistry question wrong and he ended up teaching me question 9! great. so we end up learning from each other.

i just finished the draft proposal. yayness again, and i tried doing that graphing tech tutorial but as usual, math is never productive. there's lots to do this weekend. JIAYOU!!

and there's this thing that's bugging me - i really don't like copycats, because it just goes to show they lack creativity and have to resort to stealing other people's material and passing it off as their own. i havent told anyone about it except for lemona.

hmmmmmmmm.

today was just pure ecstacy at Tk!! although it was raining (what's up with the weather dudes it rains and shines. guess that's the beauty of it) there was loud music blasting in every part of the school, save the council room where we hid there, eating our lunch. the DM saw us and no, this time she didn't ask her to throw away our food. she was so nice and understanding! "dont' make a mess ah!!!"

ok so today was rally exciting and i hadn't had such fun for a long time. firstly i went to get my innoculation at polyclinic but because i had to pay for it so i skipped it. since when did i have to pay for it man! my dad's a civil servant and never had i have to pay when i visit the polyclinic. oh well it's ok.

so after that huiqi and i went crazy at fairprice. we grabbed a green basket in the pouring rain, stepped onto the auto flat looking escalator (what's that machine called? monorail?) and went up to the second level. and that was when we started scrutinising and ogling at every single thing that was on the shelves. from raisins (on offer) to french toast sticks, to yohgurt sweets that came free because the promoter gave us one each, to BABY FOOD!! ok call us childish. because we bought baby food which will be monday's lunch. we made a pact to not consume it before monday so let's see if i can stick to it. hweekee bought some chicken noodle thinggo and i bought fruits of the forest gel, which looked more like cranberry jelly. can't wait to taste it. (drools)

we took the high class machine down again to the first level and she started going crazy over pandan cakes. yea! pandan chiffon cake. you can sink your teeth into that piece of green, soft, tasty cake and the sroma will invade your nose and rob you of your senses. haah what rubbish. ok then the aunty promoters there were very nice. they took the initiative to give us food like ice cream (drools again) and ko ko krunch and honey stars (drools not so much. who hasn't eaten ceral before man). roamed around a few more rounds. anyway fairprice is really cool now because they are selling stuff with more novelty, and they are very entertaining and attractive. the two of us, as geog students were fascinated to find out there are weirdo countries in the wrold because they were selling children's charts with ABCs and all that. and ankle in chinese is caled "HUAN2". cool. so it's good of them to come up with such cool stuff given the stiff competition in supermarkerts. there's shop ans save, giant, NTUC and jason's market plc.. =]

going back to TK still gives me a very very very strong form of nostalgia. the school certainly looked smaller for no reason. the assembly plaza looked like it had shrunk! the teachers are still there, the food is still there just that the stalls are closed ( dammit i went back to eat!!! but it's ok cos the malay stall aunty gave me an 80 cent discount ahah) the school is ever so noisy, the uniform is ever so un neat ( character trait of TKsians - blouses always tucked out). saw faith, hugged and she started telling lame jokes and soon, rachel the funny girl in the SA uniform joined us as well. so we laughed alot in the council room talking about teachers, friends, school. man i just miss those times i would run over to 4D to ask faith questions. she's just so intelligent and i sort of feel like i gain enlightenment when talking to her. miss those times with rachel when we would "study" in school 3 weeks before o levels. and oh did i mention i was studying? we were.. taking photos, ordering pizza, lowering the singapore flag at 6 plus, singing the 4C anthem together.

MISS THEM! and later we went to talk to teachers. that mrs chee looked so hilarious with her short hair. as quoted from her, her short hair cannot be compared with huiqi's short skirt. haha. when olivia stood beside HQ her skirt was twice of HQ's. and we discovered some funny facts about esther lai from mrs koh, which was a little trivia thinggo. so today i really enjoyed myself, and i thank God for giving me the chance to meet up with the most wonderful people i ever could have. TK just rocks, can?

tomorrow's friday, and i'm going to get my innoculation at some polyclinic ( i guess the bedok one) before i head down to TK to meet faith and some other TK dudes since it's..

GAMES CARNIVAL DAY TOMMORROW AT TK!!!

=] WOOHOO. i want to eat western food, chicken rice, nasi briyani.
another thing to rejoice about is that creative is giving every meridian a free pair of earphones and a webcam. their caption is "E LEARNING WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN!!" just in time, i was thinking of buying earphones since my current ones play me crap music. haha.

today was supposed to be the 2.4 km trial run, but there were signs of lightning at my third round so all of us had to stop =[ i finished half of it and you ask me to stop!! haha well it's ok. i ran only 3 rounds can. following that it started to rain the heaviest rain of this century i think. it was a good free car wash for all the vehicles on road.

car wash! woh-eh-oh-eo-oh-oh yaeeehhh at the car wash yea! (the song by christina auugeeelliierrarara) i can never spell her surname.

next week is going to be rally really busy. i realise i have so many things i have to catch up on, especially for geog. and there is a chem test and a geog test next week, and a math test ( my bane) the week after. i must admit that i do not really understand what mrs chua is ranting about at times, and geog is really getting abstract. MAN! JIAYOU!

mr kua scolded our class today. well i wouldn't say he scolded us but he's kind of sensitive like when we don't answer his questions he gets emotionally hurt, and he gives us this emo speech like "you all are just leeching on the other people who did their tutorials AND THERE'S NO POINT IN ME CONTINUING!! YOU ALL SHOULD JUST FORM YOUR STUDY GROUPS" and yadadadada. and actually, the second intakers have no idea of what he's talking about. i mean no one really listens to him (save for yanying and OYC) since he looks easy to bully. we'll be either sniggering about him, playing with GC games, or talking candid pictures.

i didn't mean to be rude to be him that day, and i don't think i was offensive. HAHA!i asked him to continue with what he was saying after he told me to keep quiet in class ( was discussing something with sarene). then he was like "I DON'T LIKE PEOPLE TO TELL ME WHEN TO START AND STOP", with a look of venegance on his face, his eyebrows furrowed and his small sly eyes trying to stare at me. then i was like " ok sorry please continue". oh did i just tell him to start again? what a sensitive new-age man.

a series of unfortunate events have unfolded in class lately, courtesy of ben. yesterday i spilt his milo at macs when i was coming up from the stairs. but macs is really good so u can always redeem a free one. haha! and today was dramatic because sarene's entire uniform ended up looking like a zebra because while 3 of us were q-ing for YTF, one of the crab rolls rolled down, fell into the black-brown sweet thinggy laden with sugar and salt. and PLOP! it spilt right onto sarene's crisp blue uniform. then later at the toilet she lost her wallet momentarily, because she left it there while trying in vain to clean up her zebar dots. luckily this kind girl from 308 returned it to the GO, and on the way to the GO we saw the pink ripcurl wallet, lying innocently on the GO's front counter. it was quite comical.

and you could call it a blessing in disguise. =]

today was kind of a boring day in school. took bus in the morning with ben, reached school at 734am. cool bus man! yanying (jaime) taught me some of the tea terms you hear the fat man at the kopitiam scream loudly to the kopi-maker behind the bandung juice machine. i drank teh-si ko song which means tea without milk! =] yay haha!

today was also photo taking session. the chairman of photography told us to not smile when taking our picture. since the class population was so small we ended up waiting and laughing for everyone. jon was especially funny and before yeong chyun could get his pic snapped we ended up bursting in gaffaws. =]

smile, singapore!

anyway one sad thing to note! i got 1/8 for the latest econs consolidation test. ben topped the class with 2/8 ( aiyah but still all on level 1 and the rest for ZERO. nice, tan puilingish BIG FAT ZERO! (TK ppl will know what's big fat zero). why is it so hard to score?
the first consolidation test was ok ( i mean it was regurgitating from notes about opp cost and resource allocation blah blah so i got 9/10). the second one started to mark the start of the downhill with 8/15 for the demand and supply thing, and now this dang israel economy thing with 1/8. what's up with me?

i finally know how to link my friends =]

anyway i re-did my Prelim Ideas like just now, after my sister told me that ZHOU EN LAI was not a good choice to publicise (to showcase the person is our task), because he is already quite famous for his CCP thinggy. So i wanted to do William Tan, the wheelchair nerosurgeon person. But he's too publicised as well. So i asked if Philip Yeo was a good choice. Sadly, NO!! because i will get sued.

So in the end i decided to work on Paddy chew, the first singaporean who went public about him being diagnosed with AIDs. i mean in the 1990s AIDS was still considered a taboo topic amonst the conservative households in Singapore, and yet he had the courage to admit and educate the public about this condition. YAY great. thinking back, i think paddy chew's a very good person to write about. because he's local, and not many people know about him right now, since his story has been buried and labelled "1990s". which wasn't very long ago, but still, not many youngsters know about him so there's lots of room for publicising.
Yay!!

Any Dream Will Do

I closed my eyes,
drew back the curtain
To see for certain
what I thought I knew
Far far away,
someone was weeping
But the world was sleeping
Any dream will do

I wore my coat, with golden lining
Bright colours shining,
wonderful and new

And in the east,
the dawn was breaking
And the world was waking
Any dream will do

A crash of drums,
a flash of light
My golden coat flew out of sight
The colours faded into darkness
I was left alone

May I return to the beginning
The light is dimming,
and the dream is too
The world and I,
we are still waiting
Still hesitating
Any dream will do

A crash of drums,
a flash of light
My golden coat flew out of sight
The colours faded into darkness
I was left alone

May I return to the beginning
The light is dimming,
and the dream is too
The world and I,
we are still waiting
Still hesitating
Any dream will do

happy good friday and happy easter to all!
with Christ on the vessel we can smile at the storm
the 3 day holiday is a scam comes with a heavy price tag. i have so much work to complete. haha here's the list:
-geog tutorial on litho processes (and there are lots of qtns)
-chem test coming up (mole concept, redox)
-chem atomic structure tutorial which i spent 1 hour doing 3 questions
-math functions tutorial and assignment
math test coming up! on functions and graphing tecq,
-econs tutorial WB! 4 pages
-copy answers from IVLE for the consolidation econs ex.
-project work preliminary ideas!!! YAY i just finished it. PHEW>
-GP ESSAy!! finished 3 quarts of it.
-chinese. man, i wished i had taken HCL. (hydrochloric acid). we have to learn yan yus which means philosophical sayings and all that crap. dad has to teach me all of it. then again, i'm glad my dad can help me in chinese.
i literally copied the given template from IVLE and pasted in new information. decided to do on zhou en lai, one of the communist activists from the CCP. poor dude got "betrayed" by MAo and the gang of four, after he was diagnosed with bladder cancer.
i have a GP essay to complete this weekend. actually it's meant to be class work but i doubt i will be able to finish it in class because:
- there's no teacher in class. i guess cindy's gonna visit her gynea.
- huiqi and OYC the ali baba people will most prob be making lots of noise
- the weather's very hot and u wont' be able to let your ideas flow.
- we will end up sleeping because of ben's incessant, contagious yawning.
- i like to work at home basically.
but i can't think of any more factors on why the family does not suffer when the mother works, except for the economic bit and the better living standards, better material welfare for the kids blah blah. can i write that with a better financial status, they will be .."compelled" to have more kids? because they know they can provide adequetely for the children? does it sound nonsensical? yea i guess it isn't very relevant. must wait for kenneth ang OGL's comments before i pen down anything on my horrible script, which cindy's gonna puke all over.
anyway. yesterday i met up with samantha and cheryl for about an hour. thank u cheryl tan for your delicious biscuts coated with chocolate!!!!!!! they are yummy. haha a best friend is always someone u can count on to give you little surprises. anyway her biscuts made my day. She's just so fantastic with her hands, especially in sewing and baking. you rock girl, but after eating the biscuts it means i have to run an extra 1 km to burn it off. haha.
what's the term for when one is addicted to sports? i hope i'm not falling under that category. lately i have been wanting to run alot. especially when i wake up in the morning i feel like running. problem is, i wake up 9. so people might think i'm crazy if i go running when the blazing hot sun climbs above me. so i have to run in the evening, about 5 plus. then again it's still very warm and muggy.
my sister bought me a plum pinkish water bottle yesterday. YAY! it looks like the end point colour when u titrate KMNO4 with FE2SO4. Aye-yai-yai!! =] another cheating point for chemistry SPA?
running running and running running and running running and running running

beep beep. complain! i hereby confirm with plus chop guarantee that weighing scales in mj are spoilt. like today huiqi to take her weight. feeling inquisitive i took mine too and guess what!1 kg heavier than.. 2 days ago. HAHA! well as we know MJ is a very poor school, financially strained. so they dont have enough $$ to invest in weighing scales that are right in reading. they can always go to ikea to buy one.

so today we had a very enriching compass lesson, about what in life we have control over and what we do not. if someone's that's disabled like the wheelchair surgeon who lost his 2 legs and yet he cycled around ITE simei or climbed mountains (did he) aiya i can't remember his name. but anyway. if someone like him doesn't even have anything to lament about, what do we have to complain about?

wait. what an irony, did i just complain about the weighing scale thing? haha. =]

and we had a PE lecture. they are changing the sexy blue shorts that are so long and difficult to run in, into FBT ones. that's the smartest thing the PE dept has ever done. and they cost much cheaper. the PE shorts currently cost 11 bucks!

501 food club ( made out of 3 people - huiqi, yeong chyun and beatrice) went for their food outing at sakae sushi.haha, bunch of rich kids!

tada! my nice class. mrs mother chua, beatrice, me, jon, yan ying, huiqi, sarene, eunice, ah meng, evan!! (haha super funny person) shi min shi hui benjamin and... ALI BABA!!

man is just but a sojourner on earth. live your life to the fullest, and make sure you do nothing but your best. don't be dumb.

had our first bizclub meeting today!! =] well. i think the people are a nice bunch and there are a few seniors from tk also.. huiqi and i got very depressed when we trned around to look back. to our utmost horror.. HAHA! nayway, thank to hwee kee for the very hearntening pep talk last night. she got me thinking about many things, and i value her advice alot.
so we have signed up for the bizclub co-orp activity, and i have to get innoculated by 25th. haha we were saying that HQ can be the chief language editor of bizclub and i can be the sub-editor. simply because the slides they showed us had some really disgusting english problems. like for the co-orp activity, we have to set up the booth and "MEND" the booth. OH MAN!
anywayyyyy.. i have to complain. i wonder if it's the weighing scales in school that have a problem because my weight went up by 2 kg!! and many of the girls in 501 experienced the same problem too. haha that's why i have to eat less and probably make it a pact to run 15 rounds like benjamin. err wait i think 5 rounds will do. i'm not a guy man. =]
school has been ending very late nowadays. well i'm ok with it, and i like the challenge.
