fate is a magical power that works in its miraculous ways,that which is inevitably predetermined. fate decreed that HQ and i will be in the same class, same CCA for let's see.. 6 years? (minus 2 years when HQ was in 3/4D, and i in my funky class of 4c.)

the verdict's out!! SLC rejected me maybe they thought i didn't have the credentials or whatever. HAHA but it's perfectly ok. i'm in.. (drumrolls) BIZCLUB! which is the cca i had wanted to join but because quek hwee kee and hayden ng kept brainwashing me, i ended up placing SLC as my top choice. great so after the innoculations and after everything settles down like dust then i can start scooping icecream for you.so all 3 of us are in bizclub.

was kind of shiftless last night,didn't do anything productive. well it was a busy day anyway. went for my dental appointment at health promotion board,i didn't know it was the student's dental centre. haha. oh well i returned home first before scurrying out of house to reach cityhall mrt. as usual, some UNMENTIONABLE (haha) people were late but can't blame here because Hweekee was,and still is sick.

roamed about bras basah, all those old.used textbook stores manned by indians. the scope was so wide and it's so much so like you're searching for a needle embedded in the sea bed or something. UGGH that soungs gramatically wrong =L well in the end it was called a futile trip because i didn't return home lugging any book that cost 67 dollars. so i shall go to school to purchase the econs textbook and all the rubbish chinese. we saw a geog textbook that mrs chua had earlier mentioned, but i'm just afraid i will end up wasting my dad's money, simply because i won't have the luxury to memorize every single nitty gritty stuff in the book, as i have my notes. so i'm iffy about myself not utilising the book well,and HEY it's 60 plus dollars.

oh well! =]

following all the book buying shi min had asked us whether we wanted to attend a GP lecture (trial) by her tuition teacher. the idea of GP tuition seems weird, because it's very hard for someone to tell you what's happening across the globe or what's up with the bush administration and why the iraqi war is so negatively-received and all that. well but whatever i felt i still went for that - i mean it's a free trial lesson what! so it's called the kiasu syndrome.and i promised her i was going,then not nice to back out right?
but anyway.. i'm glad i went for that because we explored different sorts of censorship under media - like political, racial religious and sexual. i felt that it was interesting,because we got to make inroads into topics like why is that that TV shows in singapore are of such inferior quality as many of us would deem it s compared to foreign shows like america's next top model (zhijun's fav), and why is channel 8 earning so much more viewership than channel 5. it was a thinking session, much better than cindy low's mundane ranting. =] but she's a nice pregnant lady who will be due for labour soon so i better not post anything bad if not she'll get pre natal or post natal depression and all that.

going to finish up functions! patrick gomez is a funny teacher, but 16% of the time i have trouble comprehending his words.
